16" 3.5" Mitas C-01 trials tire set up

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

This 16" rear wheel setup uses the wider Mitas C-01 trials tire for riders who want more tire volume than a typical 3" trials-style option. At approximately 3.5" wide, the tire is both wider and taller than the commonly used Shinko 241, making it well suited to riders who combine street riding with regular trail use.

The larger tire volume also allows lower pressures to be used off-road for increased traction, while still remaining suitable for pavement when pressure is adjusted for street riding.

RIDING USE

This setup is especially suited to riders who spend a significant amount of time on pavement but want more trail capability than a narrower trials tire provides.

For trail riding, the larger-volume tire can be run at reduced pressure to increase the contact patch and traction. Higher pressure should be used for street riding, with final pressure adjusted to rider preference and conditions.

COMPATIBILITY

Available with Surron and compatible Talaria hub options.

Talaria hub fitment covers applicable Talaria models except the Talaria MX5.
